PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for measuring levelness, capable of exactly and easily measuring the levelness in such a condition that objects to be measured are combined with each other.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring the levelness is provided with: a knife edge which is attached to a fixture tool and has an upper level surface; a front block with an upper level surface, one edge side of which is connected to the knife edge and the other side of which is connected to a parallel shaft; a levelness adjusting section which adjusts the levelness of the upper level surface of the front block; the parallel shaft which is connected to the front block at its one edge side so as to be rotatable and has an upper surface getting coplanar with the upper level surface of the knife edge in its rotation; a rear block which is connected to the other edge side of the parallel shaft and has an upper surface getting coplanar with the upper level surface of the front block; and a staff which is vertically arranged so as to be in contact with the upper level surface of the parallel shaft and where scale marks are formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
