PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device 10 for collecting and processing the electrical signals produced form the heart of a patient.;SOLUTION: Fewer than ten electrodes 12 to be attached to a patient are attached to respective positions of normal ten electrodes of the twelve lead ECGs. The device comprises a signal processing device 20 connected to the electrodes 12 for preparing twelve lead ECGs from the electric signals.
