PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision simulator and a collision simulation method, with which a person can experiences simulated collision between a vehicle and a collided object.;SOLUTION: A vehicle 12 which travels on a prescribed course 4 and the collided object which moves to a same traveling direction of the vehicle 12 and collides to the vehicle 12 are made to collide by the collision simulator 17. The collided object made for a person J seated for experiencing the simulated collision in which the vehicle 12 is collided, comprises a seat 36a provided so that the vehicle may collide to a position 15cm to 20cm from laps of the person J who is seated for experiencing; a seat belt 36b for restraining the person J; and a collision experience vehicle 36 equipped with the seat 36a and the seat belt 36d, in which a vehicle platform 36d with a plurality of wheels 36c under that are provided, which is provided on approximately the same height as a bumper 12e of the vehicle 12 and which runs straight at a low speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
