PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a program, and a device for supporting gene expression site prediction for quickly and efficiently predicting an expression site and analyzing a function of an unknown gene. PSOLUTION: A sequence of the unknown gene is inputted (step S501), mapping of an objective gene to a genome sequence is carried out (step S502), and a distance between the position of a peripheral gene with a specified expression site and the position of the unknown gene on the genome sequence is computed (step S503). On the basis of the computed distance, an expression site of the unknown gene is extracted (step s504). Actually, an expression site of a single gene or a plurality of peripheral genes giving the shorter distance in computing is specified as the expression site of the unknown gene.
