PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass cloth for reinforcing a synthetic resin laminate for a printed wiring board having excellent insulating reliability and heat resistance by treating a glass cloth with a specific amino group-containing silane coupling agent and a blocked isocyanate compound. SOLUTION: An amino group-containing silane coupling agent of the formula: Xn -SiY4-n [X is an organic functional group having an amino group; Y is an alkoxy group; (n) is an integer of from 1 to below 3], and a blocked isocyanate compound having in the molecule one or more blocked isocyanate functional groups which each causes a thermal dissociation reaction of the reaction formula: A-OCHN-R→O=C=N-R+HA (HA is an oxime or lactam compound having an active hydrogen; R is an organic group such as an aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic group) are used. A glass cloth is treated with the silane coupling agent and subsequently with the isocyanate compound, simultaneously treated both the compounds, or treated with the coupling agent and subsequently further with both the compounds to obtain the glass cloth for reinforcing the synthetic resin laminate.
