PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo video image without a sense of incongruity to an operator at a remote terminal by unifying lightness of stereo images obtained by 2-system of image pickup means and transmitting them to the remote terminal. SOLUTION: The video processor has two systems of image pickup means 1-1, 1-4 and video images obtained by each of the means are fed to a RAM 1-10 via an I/O 1-13. Then a CPU 1-9 detects luminance of corresponding point with correlation in the respective video images and corrects the luminance to be the same for both the images substantially. Then the corrected video image is transmitted to a remote terminal via a communication control section 1-14 and a network 1-19.
