PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing a printed surface capable of expressing or reproducing a work obtained by image-editing and processing an original image by a simple method as a painting-like work with a unique feeling according to a style of painting thereof.SOLUTION: A method of processing a printed surface comprises the steps of: forming a colored image expressed by a specified feel of a brush and a brush touch on a surface side of a thermal expansion sheet 30; forming a specific image 34 comprising a gradation image set with an arrangement and a concentration of deep color parts and light color parts on a back surface of the thermal expansion sheet to express or reproduce a feeling corresponding to a convexoconcave feeling based on the feel of a brush and the brush touch of the colored image; and forming a convexoconcave pattern having a predetermined raised height corresponding to an original image by irradiating with light containing an infrared wave length to inflate the thermal expansion layer.
