A device for redistribution of the catalyst in the feedstock injection zone of FCC risers so as to improve the conversion is installed inside the reaction zone of a catalytic cracking unit, wherein said device has the general shape of a continuous ring adjacent and along the periphery of the riser wall and located in a zone between the plane of the feedstock injectors and the plane of the MTC injector.
