A system for monitoring level variations of at least one bottom region (20) of a solid subjected to erosive and sedimentary agents, which comprises at least one a monitoring element (15) fastened to said bottom, said at least one monitoring element (15) comprising sensor means (120) for detecting a response (|u_x|) of said at least one monitoring elements (15) with respect to a stress (f_s).
