Systems, methods and computer products for display of the inside of the coronary artery as an intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) view with separation of the lumen of the coronary, the wall of the vessel and calcified plaque. Exemplary embodiments include a cardiac volume rendering method, including obtaining intravascular ultrasound views of a blood vessel, detecting calcifications within the blood vessel, separating components of the blood vessel for display on a graphical user interface, defining several renderings of the components and displaying combinations of the several renderings on the graphical user interface.
