The system has two parts (A, B) moved with respect to each other and actuated by a bimetal (D). The reaction of the bimetal provokes displacement (E) of a stop device (C) in a direction opposite to a dilatation direction of a pipe of a mechanical instrument during temperature fluctuations such that the length of air column in vibration remains constant.
