The machine is used for the treatment of marine cultures, in particular serves for crushing the mussel druses in individual specimen, for cleaning the mussels from growths and detrition and their sorting by sizes, meeting with the standard requirements. It has improved design. It comprises three basic units: hopper-crusher (1), grading drum (2) and motor with reductor (3). They are mounted on a chassis (4) by means of which the angle of the entire machine towards the horizontal is being changed. The machine is complete, having a suitable pump for sea water. It can be used both under coastal conditions, and when mounted on board of a vessel, and can operate in rough sea waters up to wind force 2. In case of well-calculated speeds of the revolving of shafts (7) with knives (8), fitted in the hopper (1) and the grading drum (2), breakage is reduced to zero and grading is of high quality. Sea water is fed into the hopper-crusher (1) and the grading drum (2) by means of sprayers (10).
