Meridamycin SYNTHASE COMPLEX, host cell, polyketide SYNTHASE synthetic, nucleic acid sequence, RECOMBINANT VECTOR, isolated nucleic acid, Nucleic Acid chimeric CONSTRUCTION, METHODS FOR PRODUCING A polyketide COMPOUND AND TO DETERMINE THE APPLICATION STRUCTURAL polyketide ACTIVITY, analogue MERIDAMICINE, STREPTOMYCES CUT MUTANTE, CETO MERIDAMICINE C36 OR A PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALT OF THE SAME, COMPOSITION OF DEOXYMERIDAMICINE, SALTS OR MIXTURES OF THE SAME, COMPOSITE ONE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION, FARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION AND TO PRODUCE A COMPOUND. A polyketide synthase complex composed of 15 total modules polyketide synthase, a 1 module non ribosomal peptide synthase, and a cytochrome P450 hydroxylase is described. New Streptomyces species and modified Streptomyces species methods are also provided. Further compounds, 36-ketomeridamycin, deoxymeridamycin C9 and deoxyprolylmeridamycin C9 and uses thereof are further described.
