Process for obtaining sintered CMM from the stainless steel 316L reinforced with NBC, via a new route of sintering, are of great interest for industrial applications such as aerospace, automotive, chemical and transport. However, low sinterabilidade of these materials has made it difficult enough to obtain sintered of good quality.This fact has led us to develop a course of sintering to the CMM to obtain compact highly densificados with mechanical properties superior to those known for sintered stainless steel, pure.This route developed by our group, allows us to grow fully under heating rate of 20 198 C / min, temperature of 1290 198 C and time up to 30 minutes, a matrix of particulate reinforced with stainless steel powder of NBC. The method is based on uniform distribution of carbides of NBC in the matrix metal of stainless steel.Through it, it is possible to obtain parts with a relative density of 95% and 99.4%, without excessive grain growth and hardness values twice the value of the sintered stainless steel, pure.
