Pharmaceutical compositions with antifungal activity containing Cymbopog-on nardus extracts, process for obtaining Cymbopogon nardus extracts and their uses. The present invention relates to the application of extracts of Cymlbopogon nardus in the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions having arithmetic activity and to the process of obtaining said extracts, as well as their use as an active component of said compositions employed in the treatment of mycosis. The invention also relates to compositions containing plant extract obtained from the aerial parts of an antifungal activity of the Graminae family. Preferably the plant extract is obtained from the leaves of the plant. Most preferably the plant employed is Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendle.
