In the present invention, there is disclosed a packed confectioner's hollow body made of cake material (42), particularly a chocolate material, said body (2) comprising: at least two composite candy hollow bodies (2) forming half shells (6, 8) of the confectioner's body, which half shells (6, 8) are each releasable shaped into at least two thin walled identical shaped halves (10, 12) made in the same manner; wherein the shaped halves (10, 12) have an upper flat edge section (16, 22) defining a partition plane (18) of the shaped halves. The shaped halves (10, 12) with their corresponding edge sections (16, 22) lying on each another, are composed on said partition plane (18) so as to form a closed hollow shaped body (20) being completely encompassed by said candy hollow body (2) made of the confectioner's body half shells (6, 9) as a releasable external package. The invention also relates to a process for producing a packaged confectioner's hollow body (2) of tempered cake material (42) capable of casting, which production process comprises a separated preparation of two corresponding thin walled shaped halves (10, 11) as an external package, filling thereof with a cake material (42), suspending a punch (44), removal of the punch (44), assembling the halves (10, 12) with the half-shells (6, 8) of a confectioner's hollow body and a step of trimming a finished shaped body (20) to form a ring.
