This invention relates to a herbal composition and a process for the preparation thereof wherein the composition is useful for prevention and management of atherosclerosis and coronary heart diseases. The composition comprises mixture of organic extracts of Terminalia arjuna (Arjun), Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) and Tribulus terrestries (Gokshur), with or without additive The process for preparation of the composition comprises mixing of the organic extracts of the above herbs with optional addition of additives.
