Sealed Lead-Acid Cells are discussed in which the charged plates are accommodated in container that is easy to mould, mechanically rigid, passive to the electrolyte capable of dissipating the accumulated thermal energy, reduces the hazards associated with the elevated ambient temperature, such as, thermal runaway, faciUtates in the formation of a superior quality fusion joint strength, upholds the stack pressure, is aesthetically relevant besides providing a perpetual joint between the container and die lid independent of the method adopted .
