The machine(1) has a spray boom (4) comprising two distinct sections (9, 9', 10, 10') having nozzles (11, 11', 12, 12'), where the distance between the nozzles is continuously varied using hydraulic cylinders. The spray boom comprises right and left parts (5, 5') that extend on right and left sides of the spraying machine, respectively. The right and left parts of the spray boom are respectively hinged together with hinge pins (6, 6') comprising hinge arms (7, 8, 7', 8'). An independent claim is also included for a method for spraying pesticides and herbicides utilizing a spraying machine.
