The method involves mixing of shredded waste with a binder that is provided with cement, fillers and water. The mixture of the cement, the fillers and the water are molded and compacted. The formed mixture is dried to obtain a concrete-like product, where amount of the cement varies between 40 and 60 percent. The filler is provided with powder coal fly ash, where an amount of powder coal fly ash is between about 25 and 65 percent, and amount of the cement is specified as 50 percent and other substances are specified as 5 percent. An independent claim is also included for a binder for immobilization of shredder waste comprising a filler.
