The blade profile is aerodynamically optimized to give a cord which is at least 10 (30)% shorter than that of a conventional profile, and which has a higher lift coefficient, so that the ratio of the variable part of the lift force to the constant part decreases. The profile has a 10 minute-averaged leading angle within the 0.5R-0.95R region which differs from the zero-lift angle by more than 12 (ca. 16) deg.
