The air feed component (1) is for an inflatable object and comprises an air conducting channel in fluid connection with the interior of an inflatable object such as a tire or ball and functions with an air conducting channel (2) and a coupling piece (3). The coupling piece has a cylindrical nose (5) with a groove (6). The groove engages on a metal or rubber O ring (8) of an air feed channel (7) of a pump (8). The nose with the groove is provided with a flange. A ring-shaped cap with a central aperture fits around the nose and with an internal thread screw thread is connected with an external casing. The air feed channel connected with the nose extends into the casing and is provided with an outer opening covered by an accurately closing valve hose.
