PROCEDURE OF PROCESSING AND FINISHING SHEEP AND GOATSKIN LEATHER

Procedure for the manufacture of sheep and goatskin leather is designed so that in the first three phases of processing, sheepskins and goatskins are first treated by dipping and drumming procedures under addition of a certain percentage of agents for filling in thinner parts of collagen fibres, and in the next phase, procedure of treatment with chemicals and enzymes is carried out as well as degreasing with agents based on nanocomponets, which all is in the function of strengthening the flesh side of skins. On the next level, the phase of dosage is carried out for the procedure of rolling, spraying, slip coating or printing by using a sufficient quantity of thermo-expanding microspheres which increase their volume for four times after thermal processing in the oven, enabling thus the shrinkability of this leather, and then gluing of various additives such as elastomers or latexes in the form of fine networks or gluing of certain textile interlayers onto the mixture of thermo-expanding microspheres and thermoelastic adhesives. At the end, the grain side of leather is worked in order to eliminate any defects in leather and to enhance the aesthetic appearance of leather.
