The proposed method for measuring temperature of gas in unbalanced plasma implies using a copper-constantan thermocouple, which is installed in a quartz capillary tube, which is closed on one side. The output signal of the thermocouple is converted into pulse signal with pulse frequency that is proportional to the gas temperature.
