METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THROMBOSIS OF POPLITEAL TIBIAL VENOUS SEGMENT

A method for the surgical treatment of the thrombosis of popliteal tibial venous segment provides for ligation of the popliteal vein distal to the site where the small superficial vein falls into the popliteal vein in the case of the embologenic thrombus or inadequate thrombectomy. The non-traumatic thread is used with this aim.
