METHOD FOR MEASURING BIOPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF SKIN IN ACUPUNCTURE POINTS

A method for measuring the biophysical parameters of the skin in the acupuncture points consists in applying the measuring electrode to the acupuncture point and the reference electrode outside the acupuncture point. The noise potential is measured and split into two out-of-phase components which are amplified in the band of the thermal fluctuation frequencies. Upon multiplication, the constant component is formed and the electric cutaneous resistance is measured. Upon measuring the noise potential, it is applied to the measuring branch of the bridge circuit with the adjusted resistance in the comparison branch and the correlation branch. Periodically, one of the diagonals of the bridge circuit is closed while from two other diagonals the noise potential is measured. After the formation of the constant components and their comparison, the difference is reduced to zero by changing the resistance of the branches of the bridge circuit, and the electric cutaneous resistance is measured.
