Method for differential diagnostics of different types of chronic gastritis prescribes histological investigation of mucous membrane of stomach. At histological investigation one determines state of coating-hole epithelium, own plate of mucous membrane of stomach and glands with account of dystrophic and disregeneration changes by means of algorithm of evaluation of main morphologic criteria of damage of mucous membrane of stomach. At general number 4 scores one makes diagnosis of chronic non-atrophic surface gastritis, at general number 10 scores diagnosis of chronic non-atrophic interstitial (deep)gastritis, at general number 14 scores diagnosis of chronic atrophic gastritis.
