The utility model relates to processing and analysis of digital aero-space images for determination of condition of gas content of atmosphere. Method for identification of changes of gas content of atmosphere on digital hyper-spectral image is in fact that one chooses two not correlated hyper-spectral images one of which corresponds to current conditions of observation of determined by coordinates region, and the other one to standard conditions of observation with classification of background surface (background) due to setting forth requirement to spatial separation ability of hyper-spectral image with identification of gas component of atmosphere through adding zonal image in which gas component reveals its maximal selectivity by values of spectral coefficient of absorption on hyper-spectral photograph for current conditions of observation and same zonal image on hyper-spectral photograph for standard conditions of observation. The utility model increases reliability of identification of changes of gas content of atmosphere.
