METHOD FOR PREPARING HYDROPHILIC GEL AQUALIFT

A method for preparing the hydrophilic gel provides for copolymerization of acrylamide and methylene bisacrylamide in the presence of the redox system in the dispersion medium followed by washing the gel and conditioning it for swelling to the steady state. Then the gel is homogenized, packed into the appropriate containers, and sterilized. The first stage of copolymerization of acrylamide and methylene bisacrylamide is carried out for 45-60 minus at the temperature of 22-24 °С with isotonic solution as the dispersion medium. The gel is washed with isotonic solution. At the second stage, the weak chemical linkages are destroyed mechanically in the mixer. The structure of the gel obtained is fixed by sterilization in the autoclave.
