The invention relates to gas, oil processing and chemical industry, in particular to devices for explosion protection of built-in electric equipment of compressor unit for transportation of explosive gases. The device provides explosion protection of built-in electric equipment of compressor unit for transportation of explosive gases that has compressor with electromagnetic bearings and at least two-stage gas-dynamical seals, drive motor and drive clutch mounted into casing. The device includes: a system of supply of protective gas to protective shells of electric equipment with devices for takeoff of protective gas from source and for blasting protective shells and means for takeoff of protective gas from compressor of drive motor and its cooling, at that on line for supply of protective gas the system is provided with distribution device for decoupling flows of protective gas; a system of monitoring devices that includes sensors for control of difference of pressure of protective gas between protective shells of electric equipment and two-stage gas-dynamical seals, indicators of control of flow rate or pressure of protective gas at outputs from protective shells of electric equipment. At that drive motor is placed in protective casing, on each of electric magnets temperature detector is installed, on drive shaft bushing is installed, and between the bushing and the casing of drive shaft sealing ring is placed, at that the bushing and the ring are made of materials preventing friction spark formation. Besides that the device has a system for prevention of penetration of explosive gas to protective shells of electric equipment through the casing of drive motor and casing of drive clutch.
