The device (1) has a discharger (7) comprising a rotatably supported discharging rotor (9) provided with a horizontal discharging rotor axis (11) that points in a direction of a discharging section (6) containing grit. The discharger has a discharge opening (16) arranged at a peripheral surface of a discharge housing (10). The opening and an ejector (8) are arranged at a peak point of an outer peripheral surface of the housing. The ejector has an ejector housing rotatably supported around a vertical axis (25) about a displacement angle (27) of 160 degrees based on an output direction (26).
