The spreader has two centrifuge disks (6) rotated around a vertical axis and comprising throwing shovels (5) to which fertilizer materials stored in a storage vessel (2) are supplied. A spread limiting device (8) with guide elements is provided for generating a spreading pattern and for limiting spreading range of the fertilizer materials in a border area. A support (11) is designed such that displacement of the spread limiting device takes place in a horizontal plane when the spread limiting device is shifted to a vertical plane.
