Procedure for obtaining atomic quantum clusters of Au, Ag, Co, Cu, Pt, Fe, Cr, Pd, Ni, Rh and Pb, as well as their bi and multimetallic combinations, by reduction of the corresponding metal ions, based on the kinetic reaction control. The separation, stabilization and functionalization of the clusters is described.
