A basket (112) recovery to trap a foreign object located in an organ or body passageway, comprising a first section (122), suitable for capturing the object; and a second section (124), suitable for retention the captured object; wherein said first section (122) includes at least two branches, distal ends of at least some of the branches are provided with loops (134) emerging from the same (134) and said loops (134) define spatially the second section (122) of the basket (112), wherein at least some of the distal ends of the loops (134) interlock with one another to define collectively a net having a cell structure capable to retain the captured object within the second section (124) of the basket (112).
