Procedure debiting a prepaid account stored in a HLR (home location register subscribers) record by a computer to charge the amount of a communication link established with a terminal mobile radio device via a mobile phone network which process comprises the following steps: - before the establishment of communication link, checking by the computer through access this computer to the HLR, if the prepaid account exceeds or falls below a predetermined statement, being the statement predetermined greater than zero, - when the prepaid account is below the state of default account, periodically debiting the prepaid account during the communication connection, - when the prepaid account exceeds the state default account, debiting the prepaid account by the communication link only to the termination of this communication link.
