The present invention relates to a process for screening for a geneinvolving a coronary artery spasm-associated disease, which comprisesdetecting the presence of the relevant nucleotide substituents in theendothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) gene.The present invention provides the ready diagnosis of a coronaryartery spasm-associated disease such as angina, which cannot be convenientlyscreened by the conventional methods.
