TURBINE OILS WITH EXCELLENT HIGH TEMPERATURE OXIDATIVE STABILITY

A turbine lubricant consisting of (A) alkylated diphenylamines and/orphenylnaphthylamines, and (B) sulfurized olefins and/or sulfurized fatty acidsand/or ashlessdithiocarbamates and/or tetraalkylthiuram disulfides, with the balancecontaining (C) base oilscharacterized by very low sulfur contents ( 0.03 wt%) and a high level ofsaturates ( 90 volume%), and optionally (D) neutral rust inhibitors, show superior oxidativestability and provideadequate corrosion protection and sludge control for turbine oil and R&O oilapplications.
