METHOD OF THE DIAGNOSIS OF RENAL DISORDER, HEMOLYTIC-UREMIC SYNDROME AND INTESTINAL HEMORRHAGIC ESCHERICHIA COLI INFECTION

Methods for diagnosing renal disorder, hemolytic uremic syndrome andenterohemorrhagic E. coli infectious disease at an early stage, and fordiagnosing the severityof these diseases are provided. Detection of excretion of AQP2 and/ormolecules derivedtherefrom into urine of a subject, or determination of the amount of excretionof the same isconducted to diagnose the morbidity or the severity of renal disorder,hemolytic uremicsyndrome and enterohemorrhagic E. coli infectious disease of the subject. Forthe detectionand determination of AQP2, an immunochemical process may be suitably employedin whichan antibody that specifically recognizes AQP2.
