A method is provided for automatically updating a component application thatreflects a currentdata-source description document. The method comprises the following steps.Identifying oneor more differences between the current data-source description document and anew data-sourcedescription document. Automatically updating components of the componentapplicationaffected by the differences in the new data-source document. A data-sourceupdate moduleconfigured to implement the steps of the method is also provided.
