Disclosed herein are converged marketingarchitectures that may be utilized by retailers inconjunction with and/or independent of consumer loyaltyprograms in order to improve targeted marketing efforts.Such architectures enable participating retailers toconstantly generate and compile consumer activity andpreferences information from a plurality of in-store andout of store activities, including e-commerce web siteactivity, television viewing and recording activity, andretail location activity. In certain embodiments, retaillocation activity may be monitored by one or more of RFIDtracking sub-systems, smart shopping cart sub-systems, andpoint-of-sale information sub-systems.
