High oil hybrid Brassica line 46P50

摘要

An improved Brassica hybrid plant and seed thereof designated 46P50 are provided.The Brassica hybrid produces seed having an average weight of oil per gram of maturedried seed that is between about 2.7 to 3.3 percentage points higher than thatproduced by current commercial hybrids when grown under the same environmentalconditions. Also provided are methods for producing the hybrid plant, methodsof oil and meal production, and methods of breeding with the hybrid plant.
