The invention relates to a method for radio communication, wherein a transmitter (TX) is provided with a sequence of bits (I1) for transmission to a receiver (RX). The transmitter (TX) carries out a coding of the bit sequence (I1) and carries out a distribution of the bits of the coded bit sequence (I2) over a number of radio channels according to a distribution pattern. According to the distribution pattern, important features (W) of the bits of the coded bit sequence (I2) and information regarding a quality of at least one of said radio channels are taken into account, wherein the important features (W) correspond to a significance of each bit on decoding by the receiver (RX). The transmitter (TX) transmits the bits of the coded bit sequence (I2) using the number of radio channels according to the executed distribution. The invention further relates to a transmitter (TX), a receiver (RX) and a computer programme product for carrying out said method.
