METHOD AND FUNCTION ENTIRY FOR OBTAINING USER NETWORK LOCATION INFORMATION

A method for obtaining user network location information is disclosed. The method includes the following steps: the function entity in the service controlling system requests the user network location information from the location management function entity in the network transmission function system of the user home network and carries user routing information; said location management function entity of the home network obtains the user network location information based on said user routing information, or transfers said request to the location management function entity in the accessing network system of the user visited network, and said location management function entity of the visited network obtains user network location information; and the response is returned to said function entity of the service controlling system, and the user network location information is carried. The corresponding function entity is disclosed. No matter the user is in the home network or the visited network, the location information of the network which he/she is in current can be obtained.
