A camera shake state estimating program measures differences in color property between a plurality of pixels to form a subject image and their adjacent peripheral pixels, regards a direction that is less in its absolute value than a prescribed threshold value as a direction in which the pixel has flatness, forms strips of continuous pixels that have flatness in the same direction, estimates a camera shake on a basis of an average length of the strips calculated in every direction, and also estimates the average length of the strips formed in its camera shaking direction to be the number of pixels.
