A problem has been resolved by providing a folding cell phone (1) having a position detecting unit which detects the coupling state between the first frame part (2) and the second frame part (4) and a communication controlling unit which performs processing to control enabling or disabling of the configuration to stop the functions necessary for communication only, according to the results of detection by the position detecting unit.
