The present invention describes a method for securely making digital content available from a mobile device (2) to at least one other mobile device (3) within a communication network wherein a security unit (4) of a transmitting mobile device (2) generates security information relating to digital content to be made available to at least one receiving mobile device (3) in the communication network and at least part of the security information is transmitted to the at least one receiving mobile device (3) via the communication network. The invention further relates to a mobile device (2, 3) for using the inventive method.
