PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition, a coating finishing method and a coated article in which coated film excellent in resistance to acid rain, stain resistance, water resistance, weather resistance and coating workability and particularly excellent in resistance to car washing are each obtained.;SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises, as essential components, (A) a hydroxy group-containing resin having 180-400 mg KOH/g resin hydroxy value and 2,000-30,000 weight average molecular weight and obtained by carrying out addition reaction and polymerization of (a) a compound containing one carboxy group not having a radically polymerizable double bond with (b) a lactone compound and (c) a radically polymerizable monomer having epoxy group and further as necessary, (d) the other radically polymerizable monomer, in which the content of a unit based on the lactone compound of the component (b) is 20-60 mass% based on a resin solid content and (B) a crosslinking agent containing at least one functional group reacting with a hydroxy group in one molecule.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
