Method for associating distribution references with data packets using a TRIE-type memory and data processing system executing this method

The memory retrieval system associates digital word packet referencing with path finding. The header of each information packet contains information protocol, stored in a memory header store (15). The header is analysed (13) and finds a path reference or association to a reference, allowing an arbitrary position to be located in the header store. A second code header allows the position of the retrieval memory following analysis. The first and second code headers are analysed and intermediate successive reference produced until the reference path can be produced (12).
