The invention relates to a business system which comprises: (a) a plurality of business applications, each operating with a database (202a, 203a, 204a), and each including one or more working forms, wherein each form comprises one or more parameters; (b) a knowledge management - KM application (204) comprising a storage of plurality of documents (204a), and a search interface for searching within the knowledge management database; (c) a knowledge presentation module for receiving query results as found by said knowledge management interface, and for presenting the query results to a user,- and (d) a task-oriented knowledge management unit - TOKMU (210), for providing a query to said knowledge management interface of said knowledge management application, and for displaying the results to the user of the business system, said TOKMU (210) is external of each of said business applications and of said knowledge management application.
