A toner including at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin includes a modified and/or an unmodified polyester resin, a ratio (Dv/Dn) of a volume-average particle diameter (Dv) of the toner to a number-average particle diameter (Dn) thereof is from 1.00 to 1.30 and the toner has a shape factor SF-1 of from 140 to 200.
